Navigator pass allows free use of Gira bikes for young and old from Friday

As of this Friday, anyone with a Navegante pass can use Gira bikes, free of charge, if they are aged between 16 and 23 or over 65.

The measure that affects bicycles on the Lisbon shared network was announced in November, and will now come into force on the 26th of May.

In the payment method, the Gira/Navegante option will appear and this must be selected.

The measure only applies to inhabitants of the city of Lisbon.

According to Carlos Moedas, around 70 thousand people will benefit from this change.
