Violence against children between the ages of 4 and 5. Milan, asylum teacher arrested
A kindergarten teacher was arrested in Milan for raping four children between the ages of 4 and 5. The 35-year-old man, already reported in 2021 and transferred from another school for behavior deemed ‘intrusive’ towards the little ones, was framed by the cameras put up by the prosecutor after the teachers’ complaint.

The lightning investigations by the prosecutor of Milan Rosaria Stagnaro, in collaboration with the unit for the protection of women and minors of the local police, made use of the collaboration of the other teachers and the educational services of the Municipality of Milan.
The Municipality of Milan: Maximum proximity to families, there will also be disciplinary measures
This is the note from the Municipality of Milan on the matter: Regarding the arrest of a religion teacher accused of sexual violence against minors, the Municipality of Milan expresses its utmost closeness to the families, reassuring the timeliness of the intervention by all the municipal structures and on the maximum collaboration offered to the investigating authorities. The reports initiated by the educators to the Public Prosecutor’s Office were sudden, as was the action of the Women and Minors Protection Unit of the Local Police which, by delegation from the Public Prosecutor’s Office itself, carried out the investigations: which allowed us to intervene very quickly. The Municipal Administration immediately took an active part in following up on the reports received and considers it a priority to continue its commitment to protect minors and support families. The necessary support measures, including psychological ones, will therefore be ensured, in collaboration with ATS Milano and with competent professionals and structures. With regard to the religion teacher – hired on a fixed-term basis, identified by name by the Service for the teaching of the Catholic religion of the Archdiocese of Milan for the educational year 22/23 – once the circumstances of the crime have been acquired by the Prosecutor, the municipal offices they will also proceed to activate the foreseen disciplinary measures
