Until March 31, in Saint-Jean-de-Monts (Vendée), the RD51 is closed to traffic to bury the protective sheaths that will house the cables of the double power line of the future offshore wind farm off the islands. Yeu and Noirmoutier, at the Soullans connection site.
Work is underway on the RD 51 as far as the Géromerie road.

21 km were buried
The duct installation work is progressing well. 21 km have already been buried on the 29 km route. Work on the landfall, on the car park and on the Grande Côte beach, is also well underway. The teams have practically finalized the work on the foreshore, consisting of installing the ducts under the beach. They will very soon be working on the installation of the ducts at the level of the access path and the car park.

At the Gué-au-Roux substation in Soullans: the construction of the buildings is still in progress. The commissioning of the connection is scheduled for 2025.
