The answer, like almost everything in life, is “it depends”. It depends on the work that a person has done throughout a professional life, on their physical and mental state, on the company -if they are employed- in which they are, on their family situation and, of course, on the way of being from each person. We all know that when they stop working they enter a period of apathy and depression from which it is very difficult for them to get out. As was said before: they dedicate themselves to seeing works and playing petanque so as not to despair.
