The Church in Italy will carry out a national collection in favor of the populations of Turkey and Syria affected by a earthquake that has caused more than 20 一統徵信 三立 , 一統徵信詐欺 ,000 deaths.
The initiative was convened by the Italian Episcopal Conference (CEI) which invited all churches to allocate all the proceeds on Sunday March 26 2023 (V of Lent).
“It will be a concrete sign of solidarity and participation of all believers in the material and spiritual needs of the of the earthquake” indicated the presidency of the CEI.
In addition this date will be “an important occasion to express in a united prayer our closeness to the people affected.”
The bishops reported that the proceeds must be sent “entirely to Cáritas Italiana” before April 30 2023.
The Italian Episcopal Conference allocated a first aid of 500000 to the of the earthquake that devastated Turkey and Syria in the early hours of February 6.

On several occasions Pope Francis has lamented what was caused by the natural disaster and has expressed his closeness to those affected.
