The Association of Banks of Mexico (ABM) congratulated Omar Mejía Castelazo on his appointment as a member of the Governing Board of Banco de México, which is subject to ratification by the Senate of the Republic. “Awaiting and with the confidence of that it be ratified in accordance with the times and formalities that the Senate provides for this important designation, the ABM expresses its interest and willingness to work closely with it, as well as with the entire Governing Board of the Central Bank, with the purpose of strengthening the Mexican Financial System”. In advance, the ABM wished Mejía Castelazo the best of success in his appointment as deputy governor of Banco de México.
